2018 marked the 10 year anniversary of Vimeo Staff Picks. To celebrate, we created The Decade — Vimeo's first brick-and-mortar theater.

Our vision was to honor Vimeo's most iconic films by giving them the big screen treatment they deserve. We wanted to create a theater with every square inch inspired by Staff Picks — Everything from the cocktails, food, staff uniforms, and lobby decor to the completely immersive theatre rooms that allowed guests to walk inside and experience the films themselves.

HUGE shout out to our creative friends at Preacher who we worked with to make our vision a reality.

We had a stacked lineup of special guests like Danny Devito, Dan Decon, the Daniels, Kirsten Lepore... we even had a room full of Jim Carrey’s paintings and Elijah Wood dropping a DJ set. It was an insanely fun and inspiring weekend, but the best part was seeing filmmakers and attendees experience the amazing work of our community in the flesh.
